Sanders and Bloomberg boost hopes for Netanyahu election win

Image
Sanders and Bloomberg have ensured Netanyahu’s late momentum continues Democratic Party contenders for the American Presidency— Bernie Sanders and Michael Bloomberg—have unwittingly given Israel’s Prime Minister —Bibi Netanyahu— an unexpected boost to becoming Israel’s next Prime Minister on March 2. During a nationally-televised Democratic Party Presidential contenders’ debate, Sanders made this inflammatory  claim :  “I am very proud of being Jewish. I actually lived in Israel for some months. But what I happen to believe is that, right now, sadly, tragically, in Israel, through Bibi Netanyahu, you have a reactionary racist who is now running that country.” This  “reactionary racist”  just happens to be Israel’s longest serving Prime Minister —victorious after six election campaigns conducted in fully democratic and openly transparent elections. Sanders’ comment doesn’t say much for his opinion of the majority of Israelis whose votes have kept Netanyahu ther...

Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler destroyed Biden’s Presidential hopes

Joe Biden’s  poor showing  in the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries can be reasonably attributed to the caning he and Hunter received in Trump’s impeachment trial. It is indeed ironic that the failed impeachment trial of President Trump in the Senate has seen Joe Biden’s run as the Democrat nominee for President reduced to shreds. Initiated by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and prosecuted in the Senate by House Managers Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff and House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerrold Nadler—Trump’s trial offered the opportunity to delve into the activities of the Bidens in Ukraine—while Joe Biden was Vice President and President Obama’s point man in Ukraine and his son—Hunter—was a director of a Ukrainian oil and gas company, Burisma Holdings. Trump’s Defense Counsel Pam Bondi made the most of her 30 minutes presentation laying out why Trump had asked President Zelensky of Ukraine to provide assistance to the USA in investigating the Bidens—– as authorized by th...

Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler Abuse of Power Rebounds on Democrats

Democrats should quit while they are already well behind – before they even go further behind in the voters' minds House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and chairmen of the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees—Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler—have clearly abused their power by using the Democrats House majority to impeach President Trump when they had no possible chance of securing 67 votes to convict him.  Their partisan political strategy has cost taxpayers tens of millions of dollars—as the Democrats trashed long-established cardinal legal principles to pursue the President in the face of relentless opposition by the Republicans.  Thousands of productive hours were lost by the President, House and Senate members and their respective staffs. Government Departments were caught up in producing at least 25,878 pages used in evidence.  In so doing—Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler sought to gain political advantage by misusing the process of impeachment laid down in the Constitution...

Trump confronts Democrats on sanctuary states, counties and cities

The Democrats refusal or delay in passing the Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act will have a profound effect on the Democrats’ electoral fortunes. President Trump has ensured that Democrat mayors protecting illegal aliens who are murdering, maiming and assaulting Americans living in their sanctuary states, counties and cities, will be centre stage in the 2020 elections campaign.  10 States, 140 counties, and 35 cities  throughout the USA have laws, ordinances, regulations, resolutions, policies, or other practices that obstruct immigration enforcement and shield criminals from  ICE —either by refusing to or prohibiting agencies from complying with  ICE detainers , imposing unreasonable conditions on detainer acceptance, denying ICE access to interview incarcerated aliens, or otherwise impeding communication or information exchanges between their personnel and federal immigration officers. President Trump did not hold back on his intention to give affected citizen...

Trump acquittal by Democrat Senators can restore faith in the law

Voting to convict the President in such a clearly partisan trial would undermine the rule of law. Voting to acquit the President would restore faith in the supremacy of the rule of law. The Democrat Senators have the opportunity to restore public confidence in the rule of law by voting to acquit President Trump against claims by the House that he committed high crimes and misdemeanors involving  two charges  of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Those claims had their origins in a phone conversation that had taken place between President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky on 25 July 2019—a transcript of which had been released by the White House on 25 September 2019. Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff characterized that conversation on 26 September in the following  terms : It reads like a classic organized crime shakedown. Shorn of its rambling character and in not so many words, this is the essence of what the president communic...
