Mass media has another try to take down President Trump

The mass media has again become the media massed against Trump The mass media’s incessant baying for Trump’s blood since his election victory in 2016 helps explain why the latest  Gallup poll  shows 59% of Americans remain largely mistrustful of the mass media to report the news  “fully, accurately and fairly.” Gallup shows that only 13% trust the mass media  “a great deal,”  and 28%  “a fair amount”. This is a shocking indictment of the mass media’s failure to be accurate and fair. The New York Times treatment of  “the complaint filed by an intelligence officer about President Trump’s interactions with the leader of Ukraine”  is the latest example. Five sentences in the  complaint  have been highlighted and annotations added by the New York Times—but the very first sentence was not: “I am reporting an “urgent concern” in accordance with the procedures outlined in 50 U.S.C. §3033(k)(5)(A).” This section reads: ”(5)(A) An employee ...

Horowitz could spell curtains for Clinton and Comey in 2020

Comey’s claim that there was no political bias in his decision making has been challenged by Horowitz’s two Reports Public disquiet that two standards of justice exist in America - depending on whether your name is Trump, Clinton or Comey - is undermining the rule of law Although cleared of any collusion with Russia after a 30 months, $35 million investigation conducted in strictest secrecy by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, President Trump is now being targeted for possible impeachment on the grounds of obstruction of justice of Mueller’s investigation. Hearings in the Democrat-controlled House Judiciary Committee are conducted publicly and reported breathlessly by the media—causing political damage to the President and his prospects for re-election in 2020 —whether he is impeached or not. Throwing enough dirt in this privileged and protected atmosphere and repeating it night and day on the airwaves and newspapers will affect public opinion and voter intentions. Contrast the two...

Judicial Watch outs DOJ "Leak then deny" policy to damage Trump

Attorney General Barr must end this pernicious DOJ "leak then deny" practice and prosecute those involved. Remarkable investigative reporting by  Judicial Watch  demonstrates how leaks from the Department of Justice (DOJ) are made to journalists to damage President Trump, and then are officially denied by the DOJ as having any veracity. An  article  in the New York Times on 21 September 2018 had alleged: “The deputy attorney general, Rod J. Rosenstein, suggested last year that he secretly record President Trump in the White House to expose the chaos consuming the administration, and he discussed recruiting cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Mr. Trump from office for being unfit. Mr. Rosenstein made these suggestions in the spring of 2017 when Mr. Trump’s  firing of James B. Comey as F.B.I. director  plunged the White House into turmoil. Over the ensuing days, the president  divulged  classified intelligence to Russians i...

Trump deceived by Comey claims of honesty and integrity

Comey's claims of honesty and integrity have been spectacularly demolished Former FBI Director James Comey was very keen to set President Trump’s mind at ease when they had their one on one White House dinner on January 28, 2017. Comey told the recently-installed President Trump: “I explained that he could count on me to always tell him the truth. I said I don’t do sneaky things. I don’t leak. I don’t do weasel moves” Comey’s propensity to leak—using others to conceal his identity—has been exposed by Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s scathing Report. Sneaky things and weasel moves by Comey—subsequently uncovered post-dinner—in just the five months prior to his dinner date with Trump include: Securing a warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in October 2016 to spy on an American citizen Carter Page—without first giving Page a requested interview to clear his name. Page had—in a letter dated 25 September 2016 to Comey—denied serious allegations made against him...
